Crystal Reports will be fully deprecated in IFS Cloud 24R2
The Report Converter for IFS Cloud helps customers adapt to these changes quickly, consistently, and with significantly less manual effort.

Why Reporting Is Changing in IFS Cloud
IFS has announced several key deprecations (IFS Community) that directly impact how customers create, maintain, and deliver operational reporting. These changes affect customers on IFS Applications, early IFS Cloud releases, and future IFS Cloud versions such as 25R1, 25R2, and beyond.
Many organizations rely heavily on report formats and rendering engines that are being phased out. Transitioning away from these technologies is now essential to maintaining native reporting capability in IFS Cloud.
IFS has announced the following deprecations:
Crystal Reports
- Fully deprecated in 24R2 (still functional)
- No longer sold in 25R1 but still works for existing licensed customers
- Completely removed in 25R2
Impact:
Customers must move their Crystal-based operational reports to IFS’ supported alternatives.
SSRS Reports
The SSRS integration is being removed starting in 25R1.
Impact:
Customers using SSRS-based documents and outputs will need to transition these reports to future-supported formats.
Monotype Fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, etc.)
Starting in 25R2, Monotype fonts are no longer included with IFS Report Studio.
Déjà Vu fonts become the new standard.
Impact:
Reports using Monotype fonts may need formatting review or independent font licensing and installation.
The Real Challenge for IFS Customers
These deprecations create an unavoidable reporting transition for all IFS customers—regardless of version. Organizations must now:
-
Replace Crystal Reports with future-supported options
-
Replace SSRS-based reports
-
Review reports for font compatibility
-
Prepare for IFS Report Designer and Report Studio as the long-term standard
-
Support new renderers and modern reporting patterns
-
Maintain reporting continuity during and after upgrades
This process is large, time-consuming, and highly manual if done without automation.
