Scott Swenson

Technical Architect

Minnesota

After 12 years with Circuit Check, Inc., one of the World's largest manufacturers of automated test systems headquartered in Maple Grove, MN, Scott Swenson joins the RutterKey team with valuable industry experience.

Initially hired as a Project Engineer, Scott worked directly with customers to ensured their requirements were met, if not exceeded. This included project management from the design phase through fabrication, integration, and final acceptance. He designed the company's first electrically driven side access unit, the first electrically driven carousel test systems, and was the first engineer to fully automate a test fixture via programmable logic controller with a human‐machine interface.

Later, as an Account Manager, Scott was the main point of contact for over 100 customer accounts. His daily activities included gathering and analyzing customer requirements, quoting new opportunities, order entry, providing technical assistance, managing project specific needs, project margins, and real time communication on past, active, and upcoming projects. In this role, he worked closely with engineering to ensure customer requirements were met, and any changes were captured via engineering change orders and equitable adjustments.

In his final role with Circuit Check, Scott served as an ERP Solution Specialist, which came about during the company's IFS implementation process. He was part of many functional teams spanning manufacturing, planning, engineering, order management, and supply chain.

In this capacity, Scott gained the final set of skills RutterKey was looking for in a new BA, namely the ability to support both technical and functional areas of IFS. With his broad background of skillsets, Scott is able to work with personnel in many functional areas to develop and continually enhance IFS lobbies as well as utilize custom fields, menus, tabs, events, and reports. On the technical side he writes custom APIs in combination with custom logical units to tailor IFS to daily processes.
