Given his extensive experience with ERP and financial control systems, John Cleary adds a valuable skillset to the RutterKey team. He is a highly professional and accomplished project leader who communicates effectively and excels at delivering complex business solutions and completing projects in a timely manner.
Between 2000 and 2007, John worked directly for IFS North America, first as an analyst assisting clients in their setup of Purchasing, A/P, A/R, and accounting with a focus on traceability of costs from operations and service management to accounting. He was later promoted to project manager and finally to Director of Services where he managed a staff of 20 project managers, analysts, and developers - and was responsible for profitability of service delivery for all IFS clients in the eastern U.S.
After his time with IFS, John was hired by Fidelity Investments where he started as an institutional client project manager and oversaw projects designed to enhance the technology platforms supporting business intelligence and reporting. In 2012 he became a customer profile senior project manager and was assigned to oversee a 3-year, $5 million program to create a Webshpere rules-based engine for customer marketing. He was also project lead on an effort to standardize corporate project management processes and tools. In his final position with Fidelity, John served as a retirement product manager advising scrum teams on methods, practices, and metrics and also managing the creation, implementation, and rollout of the new Roth IRA for Minors product offering.
Before joining RutterKey, John was a project manager/finance specialist with Cenium where he managed implementation of resort-wide ERP solutions.
John holds a bachelor’s in finance as well as an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro.
