As a former U.S. Marine, Charlie Shephard naturally has the discipline, focus, and ability to deftly maneuver through fast-paced work environments while managing multiple lines of communication and varying responsibilities. In his professional roles as Fleet Maintenance Leader, he has delivered long-term results on durability of assets through internal and external partnerships as well as technology and human capital development.

Most recently in his career, Charlie spend three years with Power Secure, Inc., serving as a Maintenance Manager where he oversaw all aspects of fleet maintenance and utilization for over 943 passenger, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, and other owned assets. In this role he also directed Field Service Supervisors, Fleet Coordinators, and vendors supporting multi-state operations.

During his time with Power Secure, Charlie developed and implemented a strategic lease replacement program, which reduced average age from 3 to 7 years and supported over 35% growth year-over-year. He also implemented telematics trouble code integration, improved up-time through auto-notification and predictive repairs. Charlie’s professional experiences and competencies include budgeting, strategic sourcing, parts management, warranty tracking, vendor management, software implementation, field service, team building, and DOT/OSHA. He has held related professional management positions with Amerit Fleet Solutions, the City of Houston, Flexible Lifeline Systems, and the United States Marine Corps. where he served as Fleet Manager for 4 years in Twentynine Palms, CA and 3 years as Director of Fleet Maintenance in Okinawa, Japan.

His technology experience includes Fleet Focus M5, TMW, Oracle Application 11i, and IFS Applications. Charlie holds a professional membership with the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA).
